Charlie’s Bar in Enniskillen has confirmed its annual Summerfest will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, offering a full day of free entertainment from 1pm to 1am.

Festivities begin with a performance by Paddy Treacy, followed by street jiving and line dancing led by Tina McGurren of Modern Country Moves between 1pm and 3pm.

Local musicians will perform on two stages throughout the day. The alleyway stage will host Effie Neill and Barry Doyle, Gavin Gribben and Band, and The Porter Belly’s. The Upstairs Lounge will feature sets by Music by Tully, Matthew Crampsey, and Dara Murray. From 3pm, the upstairs space will hold an open traditional Irish music session in partnership with Fermanagh Comhaltas, with musicians and singers of all ages and abilities invited to take part.

Other attractions include performances from the Áine McGirr School of Irish Dancing, face painting for children, food available from Tully Mill BBQ, and the return of the Hidden Naggin Pub.

The event is sponsored by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and delivered by Charlie’s Bar in partnership with Fermanagh Comhaltas.

Councillor Debbie Coyle, chair of the council, said the council is pleased to support initiatives that celebrate local culture, showcase performers, and bring communities together, adding that such events contribute to the vibrancy and economic vitality of Enniskillen and the wider district.

Bernie, chairperson of Fermanagh Comhaltas, said the organisation was excited to work with Charlie’s Bar again and encouraged all musicians to attend the traditional session, describing the event as a lovely way to finish the summer holidays.
