More than 20,000 players, coaches and officials are expected in Derry for a youth tournament running from Monday, 20 July to Saturday, 25 July 2026. The competition will feature boys', girls' and disability categories spanning under-8 to under-19 age groups.

A weekly comedy night takes place at Bennigan's Bar every Thursday at 8:30 pm, excluding the first Thursday of each month. The event draws comedians from Northern Ireland and beyond, and has won awards. Free tickets can be booked online, and organisers invite support through a Patreon page.

St Augustine's Church on Derry's historic walls hosts a summer concert series every Tuesday at 1 pm until 8 September. Local artists perform intimate lunchtime sets inside the church.

The Beatles tribute act Beatles for Sale will play at the Bentley Bar on Friday, 3 July at 9 pm. The two-hour show recreates the sound and look of the Fab Four, with a dancefloor and singalongs. Tickets are priced at £12.05 and available online.
