A woman has pleaded guilty to two charges of theft from shops in County Antrim.

Fiona Elizabeth Birch, whose address was given as St Joseph's Court in Crumlin, admitted stealing from Gordons Chemist on 27 February.

She also pleaded guilty to taking groceries worth £57 from M&S Simply Food on Airport Road on 1 May.

The pleas were entered at Antrim Magistrates' Court, sitting in Ballymena, on 2 June.

The court ordered a pre-sentence report and adjourned the case until 23 June for sentencing.
