Recent road policing patrols in Omagh and Enniskillen have led to two significant traffic enforcement actions. In Omagh, a driver previously disqualified from driving was arrested for a fourth time. Police said the individual was detained after being stopped by a patrol vehicle.

In a separate incident near Moneymore, an intercepting police unit recorded a vehicle travelling at 102 miles per hour in a 60-mile-per-hour speed limit zone. The driver will face a court appearance, where a record of the offence will be considered.

Officers used the patrols to remind all motorists of the importance of adhering to speed limits and driving responsibly. They also reiterated that a driving disqualification means a complete prohibition on getting behind the wheel.
