King Charles and Queen Camilla finished a three-day visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

The royal couple arrived in the region on Monday. They visited the Titanic Quarter in Belfast to meet organisers and performers of the Fleadh, which is scheduled to take place in the capital this summer. They also visited Titanic distillers. Charles observed demonstrations connected to the King's Trust at the SSE Arena. Camilla visited Fane Street Primary School.

On Wednesday, Charles visited Newcastle. Camilla visited businesses in Hillsborough. The couple met community representatives at a garden party at Hillsborough Castle.

The visit concluded in Newtownards, where crowds gathered around Conway Square and nearby streets.

The tour took place after the Balmoral Show, which was held without royal attendance.

Charles and Camilla are in their late seventies. The king has a cancer diagnosis.
