The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise will open its Enniskillen and Greenmount campuses to the public on 13 and 14 June 2026 as part of Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend.

At Enniskillen Campus on Saturday 13 June, visitors can meet horses, watch farriers, view equine facilities and use simulators. Younger attendees can plant pollinator seeds and milk a mechanical cow named Daisy. Equestrian displays and information stands from the Fermanagh Beekeepers Association are also scheduled.

Greenmount Campus in Antrim will run activities across both days. On Saturday, visitors can observe sheep shearing, use tractor simulators and milk a mechanical cow named Clover. On Sunday, the focus shifts to agriculture and horticulture exhibits, floristry demonstrations and family activities in the Walled Garden.

Ice cream produced at Loughry Campus will be available to sample. Plants will be offered for sale. Conservation information will be provided by the RSPB and the Ulster Beekeepers Association.

Both sites will provide details on CAFRE courses and careers in the agri-food and land-based sectors. Refreshments will be available for purchase and visitors may bring picnics. Only assistance dogs are permitted.

The events are part of a wider Open Farm Weekend organised by the Ulster Farmers’ Union with support from Bank of Ireland and other sponsors.

Separate from these open days, CAFRE, the Ulster Arable Society and the Ulster Farmers’ Union will hold an on-farm arable conference on 3 June 2026 at Legmore Farms in Moira. The event will include presentations, panel discussions, field demonstrations and a trade village.
