Survey Shows Most Northern Ireland Voters See Brexit as a Failure
New polling from Queen's University Belfast shows that 72% of Northern Ireland voters consider Brexit a failure for the region, including a majority of those who voted to leave the EU.
The findings come from the latest 'Testing the Temperature' report, based on a survey of 1,050 respondents carried out by LucidTalk between 17 and 20 April.
Support for the Windsor Framework has fallen to 46%, the lowest level recorded since June 2021.
Only 46% of voters now view the framework as an appropriate way to manage Brexit's impact on Northern Ireland, down from 61% in summer 2024.
Trust in the UK Government to protect Northern Ireland's interests under the framework stands at 12%.
Fifty-nine percent of respondents oppose any further weakening of UK-EU ties, while 57% support the UK rejoining the EU.
The poll also found that 52% of voters still see their identity as a Leaver or Remainer as very important.
