BALLYMENA: A 53-year-old man appeared at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, charged with possession of a Class B controlled substance and possession with intent to supply, following the seizure of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £4 million from a lorry at Larne Harbour. He also faces charges of having no driving licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

CRAIGAVON: A 62-year-old man appeared via video link from prison at Craigavon Magistrates Court charged with threatening to kill a woman and possessing a knife as an offensive weapon, in relation to alleged offences on 23 October last year. He was further remanded in custody and the case was adjourned to 12 May for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court.
