Laura Murphy, founder of Omagh-based energy snack company Oatco Superfuel, has been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

Oatco Superfuel launched in 2024 to offer functional food for sustained energy. The company gained placements with retailers including Tesco and SPAR in Northern Ireland before appearing on BBC One's Dragons' Den.

Murphy secured investment from Steven Bartlett during the show, which drew three offers. The business has since added thousands of customers and attracted interest from major retail partners in the UK and Ireland.

Murphy described the Forbes recognition as a long-held goal realised after building the company from the ground up in Co Tyrone. She views it as a proud moment for the team and a sign of potential for further growth.

The entrepreneur stated that the company's expansion since Dragons' Den has been rapid. She emphasised creating a product people use daily and plans to scale operations further.
