Courts: Doll sent to miscarriage victim avoids jail, and flasher to represent herself in drugs case
DUNGANNON: A 62-year-old woman who sent a baby doll with its eyes cut out and a mocking card to a relative who had suffered multiple miscarriages was given a four-month prison sentence suspended for two years and placed under a restraining order for three years. District Judge Francis Rafferty described the act as 'insidious and wicked', noting Quinn only fully accepted guilt when facing immediate custody.
OMAGH: A 33-year-old woman accused of possessing magic mushrooms with intent to supply is to represent herself after her legal team withdrew from the case. The matter was adjourned until 28 April when a contest date will be fixed.
