A man suffered significant facial injuries after three males attacked him from behind on the Red Bridge in Portadown. The incident took place around 2am on Tuesday, April 7.

Police state the victim was walking from Jervis Street or West Street towards Edgarstown when the assailants approached. One of the males possibly wore a blue hoodie or jumper. The attackers spoke with Southern Irish accents.

The victim gave a limited description due to the speed of the assault. Police issued a statement on Thursday, April 16, appealing for witnesses.
