Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council organises the Ballymoney Spring Fair for Thursday 16 April to Saturday 18 April 2026. Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce and FUSE FM provide support. The three-day event features heritage walks, live music, markets and family activities across town centre locations.

Councillor Oliver McMullan, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, attended the launch with Winnie Mellet, President of Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce. McMullan stated the fair celebrates local communities, businesses and pride in the area. He invited residents and visitors to attend and support local businesses.

Activities begin Thursday with a heritage walk led by Keith Beattie. Ballymoney Town Hall hosts a screening of The Greatest Showman. A tea dance occurs at the British Legion. The evening includes a ceilidh session at the Diamond Bar.

Friday offers another heritage walk along Meeting House Street and Castle Street. Castlecroft hosts FUSE FM live broadcasts from 11am and a performance by country tribute artist Jason Hughes from 1pm to 3pm. A Smurfs screening takes place at the Town Hall. Benvarden Gardens opens Friday and Saturday for visits to its estate, walled gardens and tearoom.

Saturday starts with a Quiet Time Session from 11am to 12 noon at Kidz Farm and carnival games for individuals with additional needs. Ballymoney Country Market occupies town streets with live music and a Maypole dance at midday on High Street. Ravara Obedience and Agility Club holds dog agility displays at Taggarts Yard.

Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club displays vehicles in Station Square. A local haulier’s truck appears at the Grease Pit. Vehicles form a cavalcade at 2.30pm along Seymour Street, Queen Street and High Street. A carnival parade starts at 3.30pm from the Town Hall, proceeding through High Street and Main Street to Townhead Street.
