Ballymoney Spring Fair Scheduled for April 2026
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council organises the Ballymoney Spring Fair, set for Thursday to Saturday, April 16-18, 2026. Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce and FUSE FM provide support.
Activities start Thursday at 10am with a heritage walk led by Keith Beattie through parts of Ballymoney. Ballymoney Community Cinema screens a film at 3.30pm in the Town Hall. A tea dance runs from 6.30-8.30pm at the British Legion. A ceilidh session follows from 9pm in the Diamond Bar.
Friday features another heritage walk at 10am along Meeting House Street and Castle Street. Entertainment begins at 11am in Castlecroft with FUSE FM and Ballymoney Country Market. Country performer Jason Hughes appears from 1-3pm. Ballymoney Community Cinema shows a family film at 3.30pm in the Town Hall. Benvarden Gardens opens from 11am to 4.30pm for visitors.
Saturday includes a quiet time session from 11am to noon for those with additional needs, covering Kidz Farm and carnival games. Ballymoney Country Market operates on streets from 11am to 4pm. A maypole dance starts at noon on High Street, joined by carnival games, family attractions and live music from FUSE FM.
Ravara Obedience and Agility Club demonstrates at Taggarts Yard from noon, with dog agility displays and visitor participation. Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club displays vintage cars and tractors at Station Square from noon, plus a local haulier's truck at the Grease Pit.
Vehicles form a cavalcade at 2.30pm, travelling from Seymour Street through Meeting House Street, Queen Street, Victoria Street, Charles Street, High Street, Townhead Street and Model School Road, exiting via Coleraine Road.
The fair ends with a carnival parade at 3.30pm from the Town Hall, proceeding down High Street and Main Street to Townhead Street.
