Three feral cats have disappeared from an area on Queen's Parade at Bangor seafront in County Down. Volunteers fed the group of cats at 3pm on Friday, March 6. Another volunteer checked the next day and found three missing: two males and a female.

A group of volunteers has cared for the cats for over a decade by feeding them and arranging veterinary treatments. Eleven fully grown cats live in the seafront area. The volunteers manage a Facebook page called Bangor Seafront Cats.

The volunteers now offer a cash reward for the cats' safe return or information on their location. They believe the cats were taken from near the TKMaxx and wasteground car park between 3.30pm on March 6 and 10pm the following day.

Dennis Cassidy, one of the volunteers, noted the cats are feral adults not suited as pets. He said if taken, the cats would likely try to return to their familiar territory.
