Ballymena Event Raises Over £20,000 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland
An event in Ballymena raised more than £20,000 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. The Bingo Music Bonanza took place at the Tullyglass Hotel. Organisers dedicated it to the memory of Naomi Lynn and Lydia Ross, who died in separate car accidents.
Mark Ritchie and Paul Ritchie of Ritchie Entertainments organised the event. They first held it on 2 March 2025 in memory of their late father. This year they supported Bryan Lynn and Paul Ross, fathers of the two young women.
The evening started with a tribute to Naomi Lynn and Lydia Ross. Music bingo and entertainment followed. Glenn Wilkinson hosted a bingo round. Pete Snodden performed a DJ set to close the night.
Mark Ritchie thanked attendees, donors, organisers and those who spread word about the event. Both fathers have raised funds for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland in the past.
The service provides rapid response medical care across Northern Ireland. Organisers have raised £65,000 for charity since 2020. This includes £27,000 for the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bingo Music Bonanza events have raised £38,000.
