Junior Minister Launches Irish Language Health Programme
Junior Minister Aisling Reilly MLA launched the Gaelbeo programme on Wednesday morning. The initiative comes from Spórtlann na hÉireann and offers health and wellbeing activities.
Activities suit participants of all abilities. They target fluent Irish speakers along with those practising or learning basic Irish while exercising.
Spórtlann na hÉireann Director Seán Mistéil welcomed the launch by Reilly. He stated the programme aims to promote physical activity, learning and socialising in Irish.
Mistéil noted that Reilly joined young participants in activities during the launch event.
