Driver Admits 120mph on M2 Motorway
A Belfast man appeared at Antrim Magistrates Court in Ballymena on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and excess speed.
Jason Michael Howell, now living at Church Lane in Toome, admitted the offences relating to an incident at 11.30pm on 7 February on the M2 near Rathbeg.
The court was told police recorded the Vauxhall Meriva travelling south at 120mph in lane two before it cut across another vehicle to take the off-slip.
Howell, who has a previous record, was given an interim driving ban.
The case was adjourned until 16 June for a pre-sentence report.
