Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has asked residents to report vandalism and anti-social behaviour at local play areas. The appeal follows incidents that caused damage to facilities and additional work for the council.

In a statement posted on social media, the council said such incidents can lead to extra costs and delays in reopening facilities. Residents were encouraged to report any damage or anti-social behaviour as soon as possible.

The council also advised that criminal behaviour, including vandalism or deliberate damage, should be reported directly to the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Prompt reporting helps the council respond quickly and keep facilities safe for the community.

Reports can be made through the council’s website, by calling 028 703 47034, or by email.
