The annual Santa on Tour programme will return to the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough from 18 November, according to the local council. The tour will begin in Brownlow and stop in Lurgan, Portadown, Dromore, Banbridge, and Armagh.

At each town centre stop, the event will include performances by local school groups, community organisations, and artists. There will also be festive characters, a craft activity zone, face painting, and a chance for children to meet Santa and hear a story from Mrs Claus.

Artisan food and craft markets will be held alongside town centre Christmas light switch-on events. The council has encouraged residents to shop local and use the Shop ABC Gift Card.

The Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Mary O'Dowd, said the programme brings communities together, supports local businesses, and creates family moments across the borough. She encouraged people to attend.

In addition to the town events, Santa will visit villages and rural areas including Keady, Rathfriland, Donaghcloney, and Tandragee for switch-on events and entertainment.

The Armagh Georgian Festival will run from 26 November, featuring a Christmas light show with animated projections in the city centre. Tickets are now on sale.

Relaxed Christmas Sessions for children with autism and special educational needs will be held at Bleary Business and Community Centre. Free tickets will be available to book from 20 November.

Free parking will be available in council-owned off-street car parks every Saturday in December and on Christmas light switch-on days.

Full event details are available on the tour website. Santa on Tour 2026 is organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
