A radio presenter has drawn attention to traffic congestion in Enniskillen after being unable to leave a supermarket car park for an extended period on Monday.

Dave Duke, who works for TodayFM, crossed the border from Leitrim to visit Enniskillen on a bank holiday in the Republic of Ireland. He shared a video from inside his car showing the queue of vehicles.

In the video, Duke said he had been trapped in the Asda car park for what felt like three days. He also said he was running out of food and water and asked for his loved ones to be told he loved them, adding that his car was full of shopping but no food.

Duke suggested he would accept a helicopter from former DUP leader Arlene Foster to get out. The post was shared on Facebook.

The video has circulated online, with the DJ having more than 300,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
