A charity motorcycle run starting in Enniskillen has raised £920 for Dementia NI.

Almost 50 riders joined the memorial event on Sunday, June 21, setting off from the Round O.

Organiser Gerard McCahery arranged the run in support of his mother, Pamela, who lives with dementia, and in memory of his father, John, who died from cancer on February 6.

The route took participants through Belcoo, Manorhamilton and Sligo, before returning via Bundoran and back to Enniskillen.

Mr McCahery said the turnout was good, with nearly 50 bikes creating plenty of noise, and he thanked the local community and biker fraternity for their support.

He added that representatives from Dementia NI would attend a cheque presentation later in the week to officially receive the funds.

Mr McCahery also expressed gratitude to his family, friends and the wider biking community for their generosity.
