Ardhowen Theatre announces autumn lineup of music, dance, and classes
The Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen has announced its events schedule for late September, with performances and classes planned.
On Friday, September 18, country singer Gerry Guthrie will perform with special guests John Glenn and Raymond Kelly. Guthrie has released six studio albums and will include songs such as 'New Moon Over My Shoulder', 'The Boxer', and 'The Lucky Horseshoe'.
Also starting that day is the Ardhowen Dance Academy, an eight-week program led by instructor Shauneen Hamilton. The sessions are for children aged 6 to 10 and 11 to 15. Spaces are still available.
On Saturday, September 19, the theatre hosts 'Glory Days: A Bruce Springsteen Tribute'. The show features Springsteen's songs including 'The River', 'Born in the U.S.A.', and 'Dancing in the Dark'.
Weekly classes continue: Yoga with Catherine focuses on strength, posture, and wellbeing. Set Dancing with Brenda and Folk Dancing with Marie Phelam also return, with folk dancing starting Wednesday, September 23.
The Music in Fermanagh series presents clarinetist Michael Collins and pianist Michael McHale on Thursday, September 24. They will perform works by Weber, Brahms, and Finzi.
On Friday, September 25, 'Love Hungry Farmer' is scheduled and is sold out.
On Saturday, September 26, 'The Elvis Spectacular Show' returns, featuring Ciaran Houlihan with his TCB Band and The Sweet Sensations. The show recreates a 1970s Las Vegas performance.
