The Enniskillen One Act Drama Festival will take place at the Ardhowen Theatre from Thursday, October 22, to Saturday, October 24. Three groups are scheduled to perform each evening, with performances beginning at 7.30pm on Thursday and Friday and 7pm on Saturday.

Participating companies include Enniskillen Theatre Company, as well as groups from Belturbet, Ballyshannon, Belfast and Dublin. The festival is competitive, with points contributing towards qualification for the All-Ireland Finals and UK National Finals.

Organisers said the programme will include comedies, dramas, whodunnits and productions with unexpected twists. The format focuses on acting and directing, so productions do not depend on large sets or elaborate lighting.

The UK National Finals are scheduled to be held at the Ardhowen Theatre in July 2027, bringing together champions from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
