Kirkistown Racing Circuit will hold a race meeting this Saturday, with qualifying starting at 8.45am and the first race scheduled for 11.05am. Several visiting and local classes are on the programme.

The largest grid of the year at the County Down circuit is the Siltex Safety Fiesta Zetec Championship, with 22 cars entered. Sam Doyle of Athlone and Christian Brennan of Mornington, both winners already in 2026, are among those taking part. Dublin’s Sean McGovern is also entered.

The Alloy Repair Centre Fiesta ST Championship from Mondello Park brings a 14-car entry. Portadown’s father-and-son duo Derek and Michael Graham have jointly won four of the six rounds held this season. The other race winners scheduled to compete are Rathfarnham’s Tim McQuaid and Bray’s Charlie McKillen.

A visiting Scottish Fiesta ST field will see championship leader Gerry Hendry, who has three wins this year, face closest rival Jamie Dickie. Kieran Preedy and Andrew Mackie are in contention for third in the standings.

Other categories include Roadsports, Strykers with a 10-car grid, the Modi-5-Cup for Mazda MX5s, Mini Coopers, Kirkistown Fiestas, and Formula Ford 1600s. Northern Ireland-based drivers feature prominently across the classes, including Roadsports’ Jim Larkham (Newtownabbey), Modi-5-Cup’s Craig Ewing (Dundonald), Rob Kennedy (Crossmaglen), Paul McAlinden (Loughinisland), Robert McAllister (Antrim) and Pete Gilchrist (Templepatrick), Mini Coopers’ James Turkington (Portadown), Taylor Frizzell (Ballyclare), Craig Gilmore (Ballyhalbert) and Darren Gilmore (Lisnaskea), Kirkistown Fiestas’ Travis Mawhinney (Richhill) and Neville Anderson (Banbridge), and Formula Ford’s Philip Harris (Saintfield).

Spectators can take part in two grid walks during the day.
