Kirkistown Racing Circuit in County Down held its first car and superkart race meeting of the 2026 season. Arnie Black from Banbridge led early in the Roadsports and Global GT race in his Crosslé. Jim Larkham from Newtownabbey won that event. Mike Ward from Youghal placed second and recorded the fastest lap in Roadsports. Peter Drennan from Navan won Global GTs and set a lap record. Cameron Fenton from Greystones finished 0.3 seconds behind. Jack Conachy from Newry took third.

Sean McClements from Ballymena won the Formula Vee B and C race by over 40 seconds. Lee Flynn from Kilkenny placed second. Niall O’Mara from Fethard finished third ahead of Aaron Murray from Ballymena in a photo finish. Jordan Dempsey from Mullingar won Formula Ford 1600. Morgan Quinn from Kill took second. Ben Smyth from Ballymena recovered to third.

Scott Jackson from Kilkenny won the first Legends race. Jamie Moylan from Naas charged to second after a spin. Nico Frank from Berlin placed third. Craig Gilmore from Ballyhalbert won Kirkistown Mini Coopers ahead of brother Darren Gilmore and Paul Stewart from Belfast. Travis Mawhinney from Richhill won Kirkistown Fiestas. Neville Anderson from Banbridge placed second.

Craig Ewing from Dundonald won the first Modi-5-Cup Mazda MX5 race. Rob Kennedy from Crossmaglen finished second. Stuart Ansley from Holywood took third. Brian Jones from Craigavon won two of three 250cc Superkart races. Liam Fox from Moira won the other. Alan Witherow from Newtownards swept all three 125cc Superkart races.

Moylan led the second Legends race to victory. Jackson rose to second. In the second Roadsports, Ward won after Larkham encountered issues. Black placed second. Fenton won Global GTs by 0.5 seconds over Drennan, who broke his own lap record. McClements won the second Formula Vee race including A drivers. Gavin Buckley from Dublin took second. Sean McCallion from Derry placed third.

Dempsey led much of the Martin Donnelly Trophy Formula Ford 1600 race before a stop declared Jordan Smyth from Ballymena the winner. Ronan Doherty from Dunloy finished second. Dave Partks from Ballina took third. Taylor Frizzell won the second Mini Coopers race. Mark Stewart placed second ahead of Darren Gilmore. Mawhinney won the second Fiestas race. Lorcan McGivney from Nobber took second. Grace McCallion placed third.

Moylan won the final Legends race ahead of Frank. Ewing won the reverse-grid second Modi-5-Cup race. Kennedy placed second. Pete Gilchrist from Greenisland took third.
