A serious road traffic collision closed the Coolmillish Road in Markethill, Co Armagh on Friday, but no one required hospital treatment.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 11:35 on 10 July reporting the incident. It dispatched an emergency ambulance, a rapid response paramedic, an ambulance officer, a hazard area response team, and the charity air ambulance with a helicopter emergency medical service crew.

Police shut the road shortly after midday and put diversions in place on Clady Road, Corran Road and Ballymacawley Road.

No person was taken from the scene. The road remains closed while investigations continue.
