Dungannon man sent for trial on grievous bodily harm charge
A 38-year-old man has been ordered to stand trial at Dungannon Crown Court on a charge of maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Ryan Patrick McCollum, of Cloneen Drive, Dungannon, appeared before Dungannon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He faces a single charge that on 2 November 2022 he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on another person.
When asked by the court clerk if he wished to say anything in answer to the charge, McCollum replied no. He also declined to tender a written statement of evidence.
A lawyer for the Public Prosecution Service told the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
District Judge Francis Rafferty released McCollum on £500 bail to appear for arraignment at the Crown Court on 4 July.
The judge made it a condition of bail that McCollum have no contact either directly or indirectly with any prosecution witnesses.
