ARC Fitness Colour Dash Returns to Derry in June
A 3K colour dash organised by ARC Fitness will return to Derry in June, offering a family-friendly walk, jog or run along Foyle Road.
The event, held at DESTINED, will see participants showered with coloured powder as they complete the route. Registration opens at noon, with the run starting at 1pm.
Tickets are priced at £12 per person and include a commemorative T-shirt, sunglasses, colour packs and water.
The dash is sponsored by Ferry Clever and The National Lottery Community Fund. Proceeds support ARC Fitness's ongoing work with individuals affected by addiction.
Gary Rutherford, founder of the organisation, said the event creates a positive, uplifting environment while raising awareness and funds. He noted that every registration helps continue their services and reminds those in recovery that they are not alone.
After the run, attendees can enjoy coffee and treats from Chunky Cookie and Hyve Coffee, face painting by Craft Creators, and music from DJ Sean Campbell.
The colour dash is part of ARC's 'Rewrite The Story' campaign, which will feature a series of public events across the city throughout 2026.
The event coincides with the Derry Maritime Festival, and organisers encourage people to attend both.
ARC Fitness provides community-based support for recovery, focusing on physical and mental wellbeing through connection and positive routines.
