Farmers' Choir NI sells out Spring Concert at The Braid
Farmers' Choir NI held a sell-out Spring Concert at The Braid Arts Centre.
The programme featured songs about farming life, including What a Wonderful World, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, The Farmer's Boy and Loch Lomond.
Two members of the Scottish Farmers' Choir attended the event.
The Maine Weavers performed Nine to Five in tribute to Dolly Parton's 80th birthday.
Local singer Sara Crockett performed Bless the Broken Road and Apple Jack with the choir.
Violinist Rebekah Durston performed Czardas.
Solo performances were given by Julian Henderson, Harold Speedy, Pamela Duddy, William Purcell, Pauline Nelson, Abigail Alcorn and Geordie Dobbin.
William Purcell appeared as an Oul Farmer.
Musical Director Barkley Thompson said the choir reflects rural life and brings people together through music and shared experiences.
Audience members joined in singalongs including One Man Went to Mow, Bicycle Built for Two and I've Got a Brand New Combine Harvester.
The event ended with refreshments and conversation among attendees.
