A golf competition at Newtownstewart Golf Club raised £12,000 for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Tyrone and Fermanagh organised the annual event on 5 September 2025.

Player contributions, sponsorship and donations generated £6,000 on the day. The Provincial Grand Lodge added a matching £6,000 donation.

The group presented the cheque to David Dickson of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. Those pictured included W/Bro. Brian Monteith, the golf organiser; Deputy Provincial Grand Master R/W Bro. Jim Moore; W/Bro. Martin Cheshire of Samdec Motor Group, the main sponsor; and Provincial Grand Master R/W Bro. Johnny Woods.
