Police Operations in Fermanagh and Omagh Yield Drugs and Arrests
Police conducted two operations in Fermanagh and Omagh, seizing drugs and cash while making arrests.
Officers from the District Support Team searched a property in North Fermanagh after intercepting a parcel with 1,500 pregabalin tablets in the postal system. The search uncovered additional pregabalin and cannabis. One individual admitted to the offences.
In a separate action on the Dromore Road in Omagh, police stopped and searched a vehicle. They found two bags of suspected cocaine. A follow-up search of an associated address yielded a large sum of cash, cannabis, and more suspected cocaine.
One person was arrested in the Omagh operation. Enquiries continue.
Police also shared an image of crash damage from a serious incident involving a driver unfit through drink or drugs. The driver was arrested and will appear in court later.
