A contest hearing is set for Wednesday in the voyeurism case against Patrick Mulligan, 59, from Wattlebridge Road in Enniskillen.

Mulligan faces one charge of voyeurism. The allegation states he observed a male child carrying out a private act for sexual gratification on December 30, 2024, at Erneside Shopping Centre.

He denies the charge. Police charged him the next day.

The case experienced multiple delays due to issues obtaining medical notes. In July last year a district judge urged progress.

Witnesses are now agreed. The Public Prosecution Service consents to the contest proceeding on the scheduled date.

Barrister Ciaran Roddy stated that the matter is likely to resolve.
