Two Men Committed to Crown Court on Sexual Offence Charges in Enniskillen Area
Two men from the Enniskillen area face trial at Dungannon Crown Court on charges of sexual offences. Geoffrey Rainey Kelly, 42, of Lakeview Crescent in Fivemiletown, faces charges of sexual touching of a woman and breaching a Sexual Offences Order by having unsupervised contact with a child. The alleged offences took place on July 28, 2022, in the Darling Street area of Enniskillen.
Mohit Beda, 33, of Carnmore Rise in Enniskillen, faces charges of intentionally engaging in sexual touching of two female children and attempting a more serious assault on one of them. Prosecutors state the incident occurred on June 2, 2024.
Both cases came before Enniskillen Magistrates Court for committal hearings. A prosecuting lawyer told the court sufficient evidence exists for each man to answer the charges. District Judge Alana McSorley agreed in both cases.
Kelly confirmed his identity and that he understood the charges. He chose not to call witnesses or give evidence. Judge McSorley granted him £500 bail and set his arraignment for June 23.
