Omagh Pride has selected 'Stand up and be proud' as the theme for its fifth annual parade, scheduled for June 13, 2026, in Omagh.

Chairperson Oisín Donnelly stated the theme addresses feelings of powerlessness in the LGBTQIA+ community. He said the event aims to build empowerment and pride while showcasing community joy.

Donnelly noted the parade has established itself as a key annual event in Omagh. Organisers expect a day of entertainment for LGBTQIA+ people and allies after the parade.

The parade marks five years since Omagh Pride began. Volunteers are invited to an open meeting on March 26 at 7pm in Omagh Community House. Interested parties can also contact organisers via social media or email at omaghpride@gmail.com.
