Developers have begun site preparation for 18 new homes at two sites in Omagh suburbs.

StruleView Homes Ltd started clearance works in recent weeks on Arleston Road near the Cookstown Road junction. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council approved 16 houses there last year after an objection from NI Water.

The Arleston Road site counts among the final undeveloped plots in the Cappagh parish area.

Foundations went in over the past two weeks for two detached split-level homes on Hospital Road. That site marks the last remaining plot along the road stretch.

The Hospital Road properties overlook Cranny Bridge and the Camowen River.

Designers Collins-Design stated the homes will mix architectural styles to match surrounding housing periods. They noted the development will blend with the area character and respect neighbour privacy and amenity.
