A 26-year-old woman from Clon Elagh in Derry received a three-month prison sentence for disorderly behaviour. The incident took place on Strand Road on September 18, 2025.

Biddy Mongan admitted the charge in court. Police saw her shouting and waving her arms.

The event stemmed from a dispute among street drinkers.

Defence solicitor Kevin Casey noted that Mongan had served time in another court recently. He requested the judge avoid altering her release date.

The court imposed the three-month term regardless.
