Motorcyclist James Kilpatrick Dies in Dunmurry Collision
A 55-year-old motorcyclist named James Kilpatrick died in a road traffic collision in Dunmurry on Sunday 8 March. The incident occurred on Queensway at around 7.30am and involved only the motorcycle.
Police and emergency services attended the scene. The rider was pronounced dead there.
Detective Inspector Stewart of the Collision Investigation Unit stated that police received a report of the crash at 7.30am. He confirmed no other vehicles took part.
The road closed briefly for emergency access and investigations. It has fully reopened.
Police requested witnesses or those with dash-cam footage contact them on 101, quoting reference 414 08/03/26.
Sinn Féin councillor Declan Lynch offered condolences to Kilpatrick's family. He urged witnesses to assist police and thanked emergency services.
