A delivery driver for a Portadown takeaway was threatened by a group of young people on Sunday night. The group took a £135 order without payment and told the driver to leave.

The incident occurred at a delivery address after the large order was placed with Turkish Kebab and Pizza on Market Street. The driver arrived to find the group waiting.

The business confirmed the driver remained physically safe after the encounter. Staff described the event as upsetting.

Turkish Kebab and Pizza now requires prepayment for any delivery orders over £60. The business made the change to protect staff.
