Euro Auctions Expands Canadian Operations with Weaver Acquisition
Euro Auctions, based in Dromore, has acquired Weaver Auctions in Canada. The deal adds auction sites in Rycroft, Alberta, and Prince George, British Columbia. This expansion brings the company's Canadian locations to seven and its global total to 18.
Weaver Auctions joins Euro Auctions' existing Canadian network, which includes Michener Allen, Jardine Auctioneers, North Toronto Auction, and Coast2Coast Collector Car Auctions. Derek Keys of Euro Auctions stated that the acquisition strengthens the global platform. He noted Canada serves as a key market for construction and agricultural equipment.
The group held over 300 auctions across its sites in the past year. Euro Auctions reports double-digit revenue growth year-on-year. It completed three acquisitions in Canada this year and opened a site in the Republic of Ireland.
Keys indicated that demand remains strong in construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors. The company plans continued investment in the USA, Europe, Ireland, and the UK.
