Youth mental health and wellbeing survey results published
The Department of Health has published the latest results from the Young Persons Behaviour and Attitudes Survey, focusing on mental health and wellbeing among 11 to 16 year olds in Northern Ireland.
Data was collected during the 2025 school year from pupils in school years 8 to 12. The survey is commissioned jointly by several government departments and covers a wide range of topics.
This is the ninth round of the survey, following previous editions in 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
The bulletin presents an overview of the mental health and wellbeing modules from the 2025 survey.
