A journalist from the Fermanagh Herald recently test drove the Hyundai IONIQ 9 Calligraphy model in Enniskillen on a wet Thursday morning.

The electric SUV has a smooth drive and handles rain and poor roads well, according to the journalist.

Key features include a blind-spot camera system that displays a live view on the dashboard when indicating, a head-up display projecting speed and speed limit signs onto the windscreen, and a driver attention monitoring camera.

The vehicle has a WLTP range of up to 385 miles, a 110.3kWh battery, and seating for seven.

Boot space is 338 litres with all seats in use, 908 litres with the third row folded, and 2,494 litres with both rear rows folded.

The IONIQ 9 can tow up to 2,500kg and has Vehicle-to-Load technology for powering external devices.

Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes about 24 minutes.

The car comes with an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty and a 5-year unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty.

Businesses can claim 100 percent tax relief on qualifying purchases.
