BALLYMENA: A 44-year-old man from Crumlin was jailed for nine months after threatening to shoot his ex-partner and her father and assaulting a 13-year-old boy by dragging him from a sofa and threatening to hit him. District Judge Nigel Broderick described the case as 'appalling' and also imposed a two-year restraining order.
