Police appeal after suspected arson damages derelict property in Craigavon
A derelict building in Craigavon sustained extensive damage in a suspected arson attack on Thursday evening, police have confirmed.
The incident was reported shortly after 8.15pm, with officers and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service crews attending the scene near Sugar Island Road and Deans Road.
No injuries resulted from the fire, but the property was left badly damaged. Police said they are treating the blaze as suspicious and have begun an investigation.
Detectives have appealed for anyone who saw anything unusual in the area, or who has dashcam, CCTV or other recordings, to contact them on 101, quoting reference 1509 23/07/26. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
