Two vehicles were significantly damaged in suspected arson attacks in the Bogside area of Derry during the early hours of Sunday, September 13.

Police said the first incident occurred at approximately 3am in Columbcille Court. The second happened between 3am and 3.45am in Lisfannon Park.

A police spokesperson said a line of enquiry is that both incidents may be linked. They are being investigated as arson.

Police have appealed for anyone who saw suspicious activity or has relevant footage to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 372 of 13/09/26. Information can also be submitted via the PSNI witness appeal form.

Separately, police are investigating criminal damage to a property in Dove Gardens on Friday, September 11, at around half past midnight. A number of windows were smashed.
