The Undertones announce 50th anniversary gigs in Derry and Belfast
The Undertones will celebrate 50 years since their formation with a run of concerts in Northern Ireland, including two nights in Derry and two in Belfast.
The pop-punk group, originally from Derry, came together in 1976. They have scheduled shows at the Limelight in Belfast on Saturday 19 December and Sunday 20 December 2026, with a special guest yet to be confirmed and DJ Terri Hooley in support.
Derry dates follow at the Millennium Forum on Friday 19 February and Saturday 20 February 2027. Skids and DJ Terri Hooley will provide support both nights.
Tickets for the Derry concerts go on sale on Friday morning via Ticketmaster.
The band continues to promote its first live album, ‘16 Live Humdingers’, which is sold exclusively at live shows on green vinyl.
Further details are available on the band’s website.
