A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car in West Belfast on Sunday evening.

The police and ambulance service were called to the Shaws Road area around 6 p.m. on July 5 following reports of the crash.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, received treatment for injuries described by the PSNI as serious.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. They can contact police on 101, quoting reference 1279 05/07/26, or submit information via the PSNI's online appeal form.
