A man in his 30s remains in critical condition after a collision between a motorcycle and a silver Volvo V40 on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast.

The crash occurred near the junction with Elmwood Avenue shortly before 7:30pm on Sunday, 22 March.

Police took the motorcyclist to hospital following the incident.

The Lisburn Road stayed closed overnight for scene examination but has reopened.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland asked witnesses or those with dash-cam or mobile phone footage to contact them at Lisburn Road on 101, quoting reference number 1331 22/03/26.
