Emergency services attended a road traffic collision on Kempe Stones Road in Newtownards, Co Down, at around 8.20am on Thursday, March 12. The incident involved a car and a motorcycle.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 8.25am. Staff sent one emergency ambulance to the scene. Paramedics assessed and treated one patient on site. The patient went to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast by ambulance.

Police Service of Northern Ireland officers responded with ambulance staff. The road closed temporarily and has reopened.
