The Department for Infrastructure has released a factsheet on travel to and from school, drawing on data from the 2025 Young Persons' Behaviour and Attitudes Survey (YPBAS).

The factsheet is now available on the department's website.

The YPBAS is a regular survey that collects information on the behaviour and attitudes of young people across Northern Ireland. This edition focuses specifically on the modes of transport used for school journeys.
