Extensive road closures will affect the Boucher Road area over two evenings this week as live music returns to Boucher Playing Fields. American singer Zach Bryan is set to perform on Tuesday and Wednesday, drawing large crowds to the venue.

Between 5 pm and midnight on both nights, the section from Shanes Retail Park to Boucher Road will operate as a single lane. Full road closures from 9 pm to midnight include Stockmans Lane to Tates Avenue, Stockmans Lane to the M1 junction, and the M1 off-slip lanes at Stockmans Lane. Lislea Drive at Lisburn Road and Lislea Avenue off Lisburn Road will also be shut from 5 pm until midnight. There will be no access to Balmoral Road through Lislea Avenue or the railway footbridge.

Superintendent Allister Hagan said police hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable evening. He asked concertgoers to respect local residents and businesses, to stay with their group, and to speak to event staff or officers if they need help.

Accessible parking will be available on Balmoral Road, where coaches will also be stationed but will not depart until instructed. No pick-up or drop-off points will operate inside the closure zone. Diversions will be signposted. Further details can be found on the Aiken Promotions website, while Translink provides public transport information. Updates on traffic conditions will be available from the Traffic Information and Control Centre.
